Her expertise spans cross-border transactions across M&A, private equity, venture capital, project finance, and real estate. She specializes in data protection and privacy law, risk mitigation, compliance frameworks, and operational optimization for diverse industries, with particular focus on technology and SaaS-based enterprises.

Angel brings a unique blend of regulatory, Big Law, and in-house experience to her practice. She previously served as a compliance risk examiner with the Federal Reserve Bank of New York in a team that oversaw a portfolio of systemically important financial institutions (LISCC firms) that pose the greatest risk to U.S. financial stability. Her Big Law foundation includes positions as a corporate associate at Gibson Dunn & Crutcher across their London and New York offices and at Gunderson Dettmer in Singapore. She honed her in-house expertise as commercial counsel at data analytics company Mixpanel and enhanced her privacy-focused skills at boutique firm ZwillGen. Prior to her legal career, Angel worked as a consultant in Accenture’s risk management practice, focusing on regulatory compliance.

Angel is admitted to practice in New York and England & Wales and holds certification as a privacy professional (CIPP/E). She earned her J.D. from Columbia Law School and her undergraduate degree from Duke University.
