Lily is a strategic legal, risk, and compliance advisor with over 20 years of experience supporting global and regional businesses across complex regulatory, operational, and high-growth environments. She served as General Counsel for Asia Pacific for more than a decade at the world’s leading packaging solutions company and has advised a wide range of multinational, SME, and venturing organisations on legal strategy, policy frameworks, risk governance, and cross-border commercial operations.

As a true legal business partner and strategic leader, Lily’s work spans – and is not limited to:

Her advisory focus includes global compliance trends such as anti-bribery and corruption, ESG (including workforce and supply chain) governance, competition law, trade sanctions, confidential information and intellectual property, harassment and discrimination, and ethical leadership.

She is also available to provide fractional General Counsel services, enabling clients to access seasoned legal leadership that is scalable, pragmatic, and aligned to evolving business needs.

Lily’s cross-border experience spans Australia and New Zealand, Greater China, India, Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam), and South Africa. She is recognised for her ability to translate regulatory complexity into practical and actionable guidance – including in regulated and innovation-driven sectors.

Lily gained significant experience in “big law” during her time with leading international and Australian law firms Allens Linklaters and Corrs Chambers Westgarth, holds a First Class Honours Degree in Law from the University of Sydney, and Honours degrees in Biomedical Science and Science from the University of Melbourne. She is qualified to practise before the High Court of Australia, the Federal Court of Australia, and the Supreme Court of Victoria.

She is a sought-after contributor and thought leader in industry, community, and international law circles. Lily serves on the board of the Association of Corporate Counsel Singapore, has held governance roles with Asia Pacific operating and venturing subsidiaries, and is a member of the Singapore Institute of Directors. Her lifetime membership with the Singapore Red Cross reflects a longstanding commitment to humanitarian principles and international law.

Having completed an Executive Development Program with IESE Business School, and driven by her entrepreneurial vision to transform how organisations engage with and incorporate technology into legal risk and compliance, Lily continues to sharpen her expertise in emerging areas such as AI, cybersecurity, and ethical governance through education and practice.
